Who We Serve
At Sage Counseling Collective, we work with children, teens, young adults, adults, parents, and families. We thoughtfully match each client with a therapist whose experience, approach, and style align with what they need.
Children/Adolescents
Our therapists create a warm, relaxed environment where children and teens can safely explore difficult experiences without therapy feeling overly formal or intimidating. We take time to understand each child’s interests, personality, strengths, and way of communicating, and thoughtfully use those points of connection to build trust and engagement.
Through humor, conversation, play, games, creative activities, and materials that feel relevant to their lives, we help children and adolescents better understand their emotions, recognize relationship patterns, strengthen social and communication skills, and develop coping tools they can continue using as they grow.
We believe meaningful progress happens through collaboration. Parents and caregivers are an important part of the therapeutic process, and we provide ongoing communication, feedback, and guidance while also protecting the trusting relationship between the therapist and the child or teen.
When appropriate and with caregiver consent, we also collaborate with schools, pediatricians, psychiatrists, and other providers to ensure that each child receives coordinated and consistent support across the different areas of their life.
Specialized support may include:
Play-based and attachment-focused therapy
Theraplay-informed parent-child work

Autism and social-communication support
School and family collaboration

Parents and Families
As a collective, we work together to support you through the many seasons of parenting and family life. Our therapists have advanced training in perinatal mental health and can support you from the beginning of your journey into parenthood through the challenges and transitions that arise as children grow.
Whether you are preparing to bring a baby home for the first time, navigating postpartum adjustment, supporting a child or teen with emotional or behavioral challenges, coping with family changes, or feeling uncertain about how to respond, we are here to help.
We have found that meaningful change often begins by looking beyond one person or one behavior and understanding the patterns within the family as a whole. Gaining insight into how family members respond to and influence one another can help interrupt cycles that create conflict, anxiety, disconnection, or frustration—and create space for new ways of relating.
Our specialized services include parent coaching, SPACE treatment for parents of children and teens with anxiety or OCD, Family-Based Treatment for eating disorders, attachment-focused parent-child therapy, school consultation and advocacy, and support through family transitions.
We collaborate with you to identify the patterns and obstacles affecting your family and develop practical, sustainable ways to strengthen connection, communication, confidence, and emotional well-being.
Specialized support may include:
SPACE parent treatment for childhood anxiety
