She/Her

Rachel earned her Bachelors of Science in Human Performance from Texas A&M University-Commerce. From there, she entered the field of fitness as a Fitness and Nutrition Coach. Over the past 15 years, Rachel has helped people transform their health and habits and noticed how much addressing mental and emotional barriers helped contribute to their overall well-being.  In 2020, Rachel decided to pursue her Masters in Mental Health Counseling from Adler University in Chicago, and upon graduation, began working with youth and families in the community mental health space.

While working with youth and families, Rachel became passionate about working with those struggling with unhealthy relational/familial dynamics, life transitions, trauma, grief and ADHD. Rachel engages each client with a warm, empathic, and accepting approach, while building a strong rapport and holistically addressing and integrating each area of her client’s biological, psychological and social experiences.

One of Rachel’s primary focuses in therapy is to help her clients develop a strong sense of self-esteem and self-efficacy. Rachel employs CBT, DBT, and a strength’s based approach to help clients let go of strategies and narratives that are no longer beneficial; and together, help guide them towards developing new insights, instill healthier core beliefs, and practice new skills. Rachel firmly believes the body and mind are equally important for overall health and longevity.

When she’s not in the office you can find her in the gym, reading books with her fur babies or spending time with her husband hiking.
